Ferret

We get Marshall Ferrets around 8-12 weeks old that come with a 1 year health guarantee.

The average ferret lives to be 6 or 7 years old.

Ferrets love to nap and can sleep for up to 15 hours per day.

Ferrets are playful animals. They love to explore and get into mischief. Ferrets are also known to hide keys, toys, and other objects from their human companions.

Rabbit

Domestic rabbit's lifespan is 8-12 years.

A good rabbit diet includes a small amount of nutritionally complete rabbit pellets and unlimited amounts of fresh Timothy Hay and water. The hay aids in digestion and helps wear down a rabbit's constantly growing teeth. Rabbits also enjoy fresh vegetables, such as dark leafy greens, the outer leaves of cabbage, carrots, and sweet peppers.

Guinea Pig

The average Guinea Pig lifespan is 4-8 years.
The most common Guinea pig breeds are the American (short smooth coat), Abyssinian (short coat with rosettes) and the Peruvian (long haired); a wide variety of coat colors are seen.
Not all vegetables are good for your cavy. Avoid spinach, peanuts, beet tops, potatoes, iceberg lettuce, onions, garlic, cabbage and broccoli.

Chinchilla

Pet chinchillas can live up to 22 years in captivity.

Their diet should consist of large amounts of Timothy Hay. This aids digestion and helps wear down their teeth. Other foods should include special pellet diets made just for chinchillas and fresh water.

They also enjoy small pieces of fruit or single raisins.

Hamster, Gerbil, Rat/Mouse

Gerbils are native to India, Africa and Asia.

Hamsters cannot swim and therefore do not need baths – they clean themselves without any difficulty.

Pet rats are not like their wild cousins. Pet rats are actually very lovable, affectionate, and one of the most intelligent rodent pets. They can be taught tricks, and they can even learn to help keep their cages clean.

The reason your chinchilla's fur is soft is simple. Chinchillas have between 60 and 80 hairs per hair follicle. In contrast, humans have only one - maybe two - hairs per hair follicle!
Chinchillas are related to guinea pigs, rats, mice, squirrels, beavers, and porcupines.
The best way to let your chinchilla bathe is to place his dust bath into his cage 2-3 times a week for a 20-60 minutes a day.

Rats are excellent swimmers, able to hold their breath for up to 3 minutes.
Rats are one of the few animals who eat just to eat, not because they are hungry.
Gerbils, being social animals, live best in pairs; keeping two same-sex littermates is the best situation.
